According to studies on 13380 patients in database of Safety Evaluation on Joint Replacement of National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, the incidence rate of anemia is up to 24% in perioperative period of hip and knee replacement,and incidence rate of anemia is 50%－80% after surgical bleeding; patients with anemia are usually prone to surgical spot infection and pulmonary infection with prolonged discharged time and increased rate of complications and mortality risk, so the attention and treatment on anemia in orthopedics perioperative period is of great significance to the treatment and rehabilitation of patients and can greatly improve treatment satisfaction scale and life quality of patients. 3SBio, together with program team for Safety Evaluation on Joint Replacement of National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China and editorial department for Chinese Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, has popularized Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines for anemia in perioperative anesthesia of joint replacement across the country; and a total of 18 nationally and regionally expert promotion conference have been held, covering 820 person-time of medical personnel from related office, which have made patients with anemia in orthopedics perioperative period access to fantastic benefit.
