“Diabesity Center” program, hosted by Chinese Medical Doctor Association and co-organized by 3SBio, was officially established for three years. “Diabesity Center” Patient Screening Management Program will be continued to be held with Chinese Medical Doctor Association and 3SBio so as to strengthen the specifications for the diagnosis and treatment made by doctor and management of obese type 2 diabetes patients.

“Diabesity Center” program was established in 2014, and “Diabesity” specialist clinics were gradually set up in Internal Secretion Department of 40 top three hospitals across the country to build national weight management center based on hospitals and promote the formation of standardized diagnosis and treatment process, thus accumulating first-hand evidence for standardization of diagnosis and treatment on obese diabetic; and Consensus on Specification of Diagnosis and Treatment for Obese Type 2 Diabetes Patients was published in 2017.

Diabesity Center is equipped with related soft hardware on patient management and education for assisting patients in managing the blood glucose and weight; for hardware, each center is equipped with body fat analyzer and weighing scale required by diagnosis and treatment of patients and management manual used for patient education, thus preferably making a definite diagnosis on patients and supporting subsequent self-management. For software, each center is equipped with professional doctors and nurses in charge of diabesity management for one-to-one professional diagnosis and treatment and service, and blood glucose and weight can be preferably managed by patients through the publicity of basic knowledge on diabesity and the play of education video such as exercise and diet; patients with obese diabetic can be collected and followed up by using APP software in diabesity outpatient clinic, and doctor/nurse/patients three-party linkage concept is established through long-term follow up and intervention on patients for more effectively managing patients.
